The challenge of studying and learning about one of the body's vital organs is what I find fascinating about cardiology. Dr. Neuhauser received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a bachelor's degree from Beaver College in Pennsylvania. He served an internship at Cooper Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He completed an additional fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center.

The first time I saw a cardiologist place a stent in someone having a heart attack and how quickly it reversed that situation, I knew I wanted to be a part of that and chose cardiology as my specialty. Dr. Starnes graduated from Hendrix College with distinction in biology before earning a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He then completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He went on to complete fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

My undergraduate degree is in chemical engineering - pumps, pipes and fluid flow. Because of that background, cardiology made sense to me. Cardiology treatments actually matter - they extend lives and relieve symptoms. An Arkansas native, Dr. Geoghagan joined Arkansas Cardiology after serving as a staff cardiologist in the U. S. Air Force. He held the rank of Major and was chief of cardiovascular services at Eglin Air Force Regional Hospital when he left the military after 10 years of service.
