Founded in 1981, LifeQuest of Arkansas is a volunteer-based, nonprofit establishment for active adults. Based in Little Rock, Ark., the organization provides an infrastructure through which adults can create a more purposeful and rewarding post-retirement life or Third Age. The program is divided into two phases, first of which is Adventures in Learning, an educational portion that offers lectures in a variety of topics, such as health, financial management, media, politics and state/local history. The second phase of the program is Community Services, this portion offers civic services, such as Caring Wheels (one-on-one transportation to medical appointments), Computer Comfort (basic computer help), Friendly Callers (telephone reassurance) and Handy Hands (minor home repairs).

Located in Little Rock, Ark., Integrity is a nonprofit, community-based organization that provides a variety of health care, rehabilitative and child care services. The organization is licensed by the Division of Developmental Disability Services of the Department of Human Services (DHS). It provides alternative-based services for adults with developmental disabilities. Integrity offers waiver and foster and personal care services. The organization supports children s and adults developmental day treatment service programs. In addition, it provides therapeutic, legal, homemaker, case management, respite care, adaptive equipment and community experience sharing services. The organization offers services for senior citizens that include Medicaid assistance.
