I got a baked chicken & a smothered pocket plate. Both were very salty. The yams & macaroni were bland but what REALLY upset me is the fact that they had the nerve to serve burnt butter roll....

5/5. Excellent food and friendly service. Maybe the best plate west of the MS river. Recommend the corn bread, it hits on a different level.

they have a bad attitudes and they food are sooo salty.... I just order a bowl of gumbo and it tasted just like a bowl of salt.

Found this place on accident trying to get food with a uhaul was hard during covid. Enjoyed this Local soul good kitchen. Food was good. My favorite was those yams. Man those were yummy.
