Dr. Jerry H. Ellis started serving Sharp and Fulton county residents at Progressive Eye Center in Highland AR. In 2006 a new, larger facility was opened in Cherokee Village with a premier optical shop in addition to an up to date medical facility. Dr. Trey Upton started caring for patients at Progressive Eye Center in 2022. He received his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
