The Northwest Arkansas Oral History Project, initiated in 2018, focuses on collecting and preserving the personal stories and memories of residents from Benton, Carroll, Madison, and Washington counties. This effort has evolved into a freestanding non-profit organization supported by various local collaborators, including the David and Barbara Pryor Center for Arkansas Oral and Visual History at the University of Arkansas.

With a collection of 65 interviews now preserved in the Special Collections Library at the University of Arkansas, the project aims to ensure that these narratives remain accessible to the public. It is coordinated by Camille Hatcher and Connie Fetters, alongside a dedicated team of volunteers and partner organizations throughout the region.
