Mid-South Health Systems is a community-based, nonprofit mental health care organization that offers medication management, crisis stabilization and transitional housing services. It provides rehabilitation, case management, and individual, group and family counseling services. The organization also offers emergency, pharmacy, psychiatric and psychological evaluation services. It provides individual and family therapies and treatment and school-based mental health services. Mid-South Health Systems also offers independent living residential services through its group homes, lodges and apartments. It provides Treatment Foster Care, a community-based program that provides placement services and supportive foster homes for children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disturbances. The organization additionally offers time, anger and stress management and problem solving and communication skills development training, as well as conducts several health care awareness seminars and workshops. Mid-South Health Systems maintains one of its facilities in Paragould, Ark.
