The Nevada County Depot and Museum, founded in 1976, is the only museum in Nevada County. Located in the 1912 Iron Mountain Railroad Depot in downtown Prescott, Arkansas, it is a non-profit organization that preserves and promotes the history of Nevada County. The Depot was constructed in 1912 by the Iron Mountain Railroad and is located in the heart of historic downtown Prescott. It's easily accessible from major highways and lies along Interstate 30 and historic Highway 67. The Depot Museum also preserves the Prairie D'Ane Civil War battlefield where the museum hosts reenactments every year.
