Youth Home is a private, nonprofit agency approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. It provides professional therapeutic environment for teenagers with emotional and behavioral problems. Its residential treatment program helps adolescents of 12 to 18 years of age to cope with daily living and make positive decisions about life and health. Its professional foster care is for adolescents who need treatment. It offers day treatment for students with serious behavioral, emotional and academic problems and prevents them from functioning effectively in traditional environments. Youth Home also provides outpatient and special education services. It is funded through fees for services, grants, contracts and private donors. Youth Home is located in Little Rock, Ark.
