Magnolia Hospital, founded in 1939, is a nonprofit acute care hospital. It is a 40-plus-bed facility that provides services to the population of Columbia County and southwest areas in Arkansas. The hospital has medical and surgical, emergency, radiology and pharmacy departments. Magnolia Hospital provides outpatient, nutrition, respiratory care and rehabilitative services to neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. The hospital also maintains a medical clinic that provides health care services for nonurgent diseases, as well as health promotion, disease prevention and episodic care services. Its medical community consists of more than 15 primary care specialists and over 30 physicians available for consulting and specialty needs. With a location in Magnolia, Ark., the hospital is certified by Medicare and Medicaid for acute care and rural health.
