Lake Hamilton Fire Department
The Lake Hamilton Fire Department, established in 1958, is the first volunteer firefighting association in Garland County, Arkansas, and is renowned as one of the state's finest. Serving approximately 70 square miles and over 10,000 citizens daily, this all-hazards fire and rescue department is committed to providing exceptional services to the Southeast corner of Garland County and parts of Northwest Hot Spring County.
Under the leadership of Chief Doug Davey, who has been with the department since 1998, Lake Hamilton Fire Department has achieved an ISO Class 3 rating and continues to strive for improvement. With a dedicated team of professionals, including Assistant Chief Fire Marshall Bill Heck, Assistant Chief Roger Lishbrook, and Training Officer Sam Wills, the department is equipped to handle various emergencies and is the only fire department with fire and rescue boats stationed on Lake Hamilton and Lake Catherine.
