Hipp Racing LLC is a family owned and operated business and we approach things a little differently. First the reason we started this business, we have been involved in Drag Racing at some level since 1985 and before that my Dad was involved in drag racing although not always that of the legal kind but you can say he was the main factor in getting us started in 85. As all of you know it seems to be a continual building process once you start you don't ever seem happy so you keep evolving and you have to try and find a chassis shop that you trust, certainly not knocking anyone but as many of you will attest sometimes that is hard to do. We purchased a car from a very reputable builder I will say some 12 hours away from Little Rock, only after it's delayed arrival, have to take it to a chassis shop here locally to have things fixed on it, this prompted me to want to be able to handle these things myself so off to welding school I go. The very first car I built was in 2000 and it was a dragster which we still own today and my wife Bonnie still bracket races today when time permitting. Since then till probably around 2005 we were in business on a small but growing scale, at that time we decided to step away for a while and concentrate on other projects and now that everything is up and running we have decided to come back. The first thing you will notice is our hours, no 9 to 5 corporate way of business here, our hours of operation are to try and accommodate the working people, which I am proud to be especially in today's world. I work a daily job so I operate in the evening hours and weekends, actually I will take calls from 8 am to 10 pm daily however between 9 to 5 on weekdays, your best bet is try my cell phone and you may have to leave a message, I will call you back.
