Since it first opened its doors, Benchmark Group has worked on more than 8,000 projects across the continental United States, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Mexico. The company's architects and engineers are licensed in 49 states. Benchmark Group was the first architectural/engineering firm in Arkansas to utilize computer aided drafting. The group is also the only architectural/engineering firm to receive the Arkansas Quality Award for excellence. In the early 1990s, the firm took a lead on the Americans with Disabilities Act, which deals with building accessibility issues. It also sponsored and presented more than 10 ADA seminars in cities such as Detroit; Chicago; Kansas City; Mo.; and Tulsa, Okla. Benchmark Group was founded in 1978.
