Christ the King Catholic School

Christ the King School, located in Fort Smith, Ark., was established in 1949. It is a private, parochial school that offers educational opportunities to meet the needs of the academic, physical, social and spiritual development of student. The school offers classes in kindergarten through grade six. Christ the King School offers academic classes in a variety of subjects, such as math, science and social studies, as well as art, music, Spanish language, physical education and technology. The school also maintains a cafeteria and library. Its academic curriculum includes English, reading, literature, oral and written communication, handwriting, spelling and science. Christ the King School also provides after-school care programs. It is a member of the National Catholic Education Association and accredited by the Arkansas Non-Public School Accrediting Association.
