I hope to be a physician to the whole patient - Body, Mind, and Spirit. In his spare time, Dr. Gary Bowman enjoys outdoor activities, yard work, retriever training, as well as music. Dr. Gary Bowman is a family medicine physician that practices at Greenbrier Family Clinic-A Baptist Health Affiliate. He provides a range of services including casting, chronic illness treatment, immunizations, routine checkups, school physicals, & wellness exams.

From early childhood, I knew I wanted to be a doctor. Now as I answer the challenging questions of my little girl who is in the never-ending stage of "why" questions, I find myself thinking carefully before responding. Often her questions relate to God, heaven, people who have gone on, and when will we go to heaven. Need I say, she is an inquisitive child? My answer is repetitive in that we are alive on Earth to do work for God until He decides our work is finished. I guess this would be the best way to describe my practice philosophy. He has placed me as a physician at Greenbrier Family Clinic for a specific purpose. I am able to form relationships with patients and families over the years.
