Specialized therapies include back pain in pregnancy, runner's evaluation and blood flow restriction therapy. Blood flow restriction therapy is used to help strengthen atrophied muscles. This therapy allows those with limitations such as arthritis, athletes who have been injured, ligament or tendon surgery patients, and those with fractures that are non-weight bearing, strengthen their muscles without doing damage or straining the joints.
