The company's architects and engineers are licensed in 49 states. Benchmark Group was the first architectural/engineering firm in Arkansas to utilize computer aided drafting. The group is also the only architectural/engineering firm to receive the Arkansas Quality Award for excellence. In the early 1990s, the firm took a lead on the Americans with Disabilities Act, which deals with building accessibility issues. It also sponsored and presented more than 10 ADA seminars in cities such as Detroit; Chicago; Kansas City; Mo.; and Tulsa, Okla. Benchmark Group was founded in 1978.
