Founded in 1873, Arkansas Press Association is a nonprofit organization, serving the newspapers of Arkansas. It conducts an annual convention (summer), an annual advertising conference, a multi-state circulation conference each fall and numerous workshops and seminars during the year. Currently, there are 135 newspapers that are members of the association, 99 weeklies, six semi-weeklies, 28 dailies and two free newspapers. Additionally, the press association has more than 140 Associate Members, including suppliers, manufacturers, educators, individuals and media organizations.
