Arkansas Methodist Hospital is a fully accredited, 129-bed acute-care hospital with more than 500 employees, 140 volunteers and 60 physicians including surgeons and dentists on the medical staff. The hospital serves the people of northeast Arkansas, southeast Missouri and neighboring areas, offering a wide range of services, including inpatient and outpatient care, 24-hour emergency services, skilled nursing care, rehabilitation programs, home health and more. Arkansas Methodist s latest additions include a critical care unit, a recently remodeled birthing center, a gastroenterology laboratory and a newly renovated outpatient surgery department. The hospital also offers cardio catheterization and magnetic resonance imaging laboratories. Arkansas Methodist Hospital was established in 1949.
