The original Stuttgart Memorial Hospital opened in 1957. In 2009 the facility became a part of the Baptist Health system. Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart is licensed by the state of Arkansas for 49 acute care beds. This hospital is one of eleven Baptist Health hospitals in Arkansas and is a member of the Arkansas and American Hospital Association, major health networks and is Medicare certified.

At Baptist Health Imaging Center-Saline County we offer some of the latest imaging technology in a friendly, caring atmosphere. Located in Benton, the center is easily accessed from Interstate 30 and parking for our clinic is located right outside our front door. There is also a covered drive-through that allows patients to get out at the entrance if necessary. Once inside, you will find our front desk and a variety of seating options immediately available. Our staff is very friendly, and we offer a warm, inviting experience to a sometimes intimidating exam.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, also known as UAMS, has more than 2,500 students in over five academic units. The university manages Area Health Education Centers in Fayetteville, Pine Bluff, El Dorado, Texarkana and Fort Smith in Arkansas.
