History

The Fayetteville Trading Post opened it's doors September 23th 2009. It was Arkansas Spas Pools & more for 25 years. Edd Brandon owned and operated Arkansas Spas Pools & more from Feb. 1985 to Oct 2004 then sold the pool business. When the folks he sold the business to closed the doors, he & Nancy Andreasen converted the pool store to an upscale resale flea market. Because pool & spa owners have been coming to this location for over 25 years & with Edd's experience with pools and spas, the Fayetteville Trading Post will sell Pool & Spas chemicals & supplies at discount prices, offering FREE water testing and will have a list of good independent services techs. Nancy Andreasen loved going to auctions, estate sales, yard sales and flea markets plus loved being around people. Then with Fayetteville only having 2 flea markets at the time starting the Fayetteville Trading Post seemed like a good & fun business to start. HAPPY TREASURE HUNTING!

Specialties

We are the newest flea market/thrift store in Fayetteville. We are located between Sunbridge and Drake on College. Look for Out Back Barns portable storage buildings around the building. We sell and rent to own new portable building. Ask Edd for details. Inside You will find an upscale resale flea market. It is full of unusual & unique items. New, used, antiques & more you can find just about anything here and things change daily. The building is around 6000sq ft & over 60 booths. It is a FUN place to shop but our customers call it TREASURE HUNTING. We have a 20x40 furniture room, 20 foot of jewelry case and an 12ft by 12ft village closet. We have antiques, collectibles, upscale women's clothing, 2 baby booths, a wedding booth, books, collectibles & more. Out front we have a nice sitting area by the Village waterfall with FREE wifi. It is hard to say what the BEST part of the Trading Post is, the Great Stuff, the Great Prices or just a Fun place to shop & meet Friends.

Sold the old building and relocated just up the hill on the same drive in. You just go to the opposite side in a little red building. Great inventory to look through. Chimeneas, fun outdoor decor,...

This place was pretty cool. It is much bigger and nicer than it looks from the outside. They really did have a little of everything - jewelry, antiques, razorback merchandise, housewares,...
