Nurturing & Protecting Today's Young Minds for Tomorrow's Future. Young Minds Preschool provides a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for 2 through 8 years of age. We are dedicated to teaching children values such as respect of self and others, honesty, forgiveness, and an appreciation for learning in order to foster character development and a positive self-esteem, and to enhance their overall social, emotional, and cognitive development. We view each child as a unique and special person with his or her own pattern and timing of growth. As caregivers we are devoted to providing a wealth of opportunities for discoveries, stimulating experiences, problem solving, and accomplishments. Our philosophy is based on the belief that all areas of a child's development (social, emotional, physical, and cognitive) are integrated. We believe that optimal development in all areas is derived from a positive, supportive, and individualized relationship with adults. Our curriculum encourages children to be actively involved in the learning process, to experience a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and learning materials, and to pursue their own interests as unique individuals in their community and in their world.
