Wright Elementary School

Borton Primary Magnet School, established in 1928, offers educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade two. The school s academic courses include music, computer applications, art, family and consumer science, technology education, performing arts, math and social studies. Borton Primary Magnet School has a guidance counseling department that provides a systematic program that ensures academic, personal, social and career development of students. Borton Primary Magnet School supports art, Bible, drama, newspaper and science clubs. In addition, the school operates a library and media center that provides various books and other study materials. Borton Primary Magnet School is a part of the Tucson Unified School District.

PPEP TEC High School is a publicly financed system that works to provide alternative educational programs for students between the ages of 15 and 21. The system educates students in grades 9 through 12. It serves the children of migrant and seasonal farm workers in rural Arizona, as well as at-risk students and high school dropouts. PPEP TEC High School offers educational programs to assist with obtaining high school diploma and employability skills. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in English, math, science and social studies. It administers the English Language Learners program. PPEP TEC High School is one of the first charter schools in the United States to become a recipient of the Kellogg Foundation Technology Grant of approximately $500,000.
