Wild West Rods & Custom, Inc started in a 1200 sq. ft. building on the freeway frontage road in the Center of Tucson, Arizona and it didn't take long for the business to expand to the current 5, 000 sq. ft. of shop and office space.At the beginning we were strictly a Build and Fabrication shop, but we soon discovered our clients were waiting as long as a year to get their Hot Rods painted by third-party paint and body shops. We decided that an in house paint booth would serve our customers best and we convinced our brother- in- law to join us with his 25 plus years of body and paint experience. Now you won't have to wait so long to get your Hot Rod painted and assembled whether it's your daily driver or a custom show car. Shortly after opening our son asked if he could learn how to weld. He had a knack for it and after a few hours he was welding as if he had been doing it for years. He's now in charge of the fabrication side of our business along side our experienced metal fabricator whose been with us almost from the beginning. Between the two of them they can fabricate just about anything you might need. A couple of jobs from our bragg'n post include a custom Mustang dash with gauges that appear to float on air, and merging 4 stock Buick bumpers into a custom bumper recessed into the body of a Buick convertible. Another part of our business is general assembly. If you have a car, truck or hot rod you just don't seem to have the time to finish, we can get it done for you. We are truly a One Stop Shop and in addition to the previously mentioned work we perform, we also offers complete wiring work from head light to tail light, installation of air conditioning and or heat and defrost, installation of gas tanks and fuel lines, brake lines and power windows whatever you need done for your car or truck we can handle it for you. Last but not least is our parts department. If you need parts to dress up your engine or finish your interior or exterior please contact us or stop by the shop and see what we have in stock.
