Wienerschnitzel was started in 1961 by a 23-year-old fast-food entrepreneur as a single hot dog stand. Today, it is one of the world's largest hot dog chains and one of the largest privately owned fast-food restaurant chains in the United States with more than 340 stores. The chain sells over 120 million hot dogs per year. Besides its signature chili dog, Wienerschnitzel is also known for its corn dogs, chili cheese fries and chili cheeseburgers. Additionally, the chain serves old-fashioned sundaes, freezees, soft serve cones, and shakes and floats. Wienerschnitzel offers online coupons of various denominations, as well as merchandise that includes boxers, T-shirts, skateboard decks, bowling shirts and license plate frames.

Great food, great service and the ambiance........come on, it's a hot dog joint, clean but it's not the Ritz.
