West Valley Genealogical Society

Based in Youngtown, Ariz., West Valley Genealogical Society is a corporation dedicated to finding, recording, and sharing genealogical information, serving genealogists throughout the Northwest Valley area of Maricopa County, Arizona. The library of the Society has more than 11,000 books, 1000s of Periodicals, 1000 CDs and 1000s of Microforms. It offers a variety of basic-advanced Genealogy related classes and workshops, covering How To Dos of Genealogy, Genealogy Libraries, Genealogy Computer Programs, Technology Aids, Preserving Memories and Photos. The West Valley Genealogical Society also has duplicate books available for purchase. The publications of the Society are called Tidbits, which are issued 9 times a year.
