This is a great visitor's center to stop at while at the Grand Canyon's South Rim. Great selection of merchandise, and I also loved reading the history of the Verkamp family and their souvenir...

Don't miss this visitor's center and trading post. Nice historical display of the origins of the trading post. Take some time to look around and buy a conservancy souvenir.

Cool little visitor center and gift shop in Grand Canyon Village. It is located within walking distance of the Hopi House and El Tovar Hotel. John Verkamp sold souvenirs from a tent to visitors...

A pretty historic building used as a visitors center along the south rim of the park. No bathrooms are located here so plan accordingly. They do have the park stamp so dont forget your passport...

Unfortunately Verkamp's Visitor Center was temporarily closed due to the unforgiving pandemic and our visit in February 2021. Our visit wouldn't simply allow us to enjoy the Grand Canyon Visitor...
