The Verde Valley Archaeology Center and Museum is the only facility in the Sedona and Verde Valley area that presents the history of the ancestral Hopi and Yavapai-Apache Nation. The museum presents a variety of exhibits on family life in the 11th through 14th Centuries. Special exhibits include meteorites on loan from Arizona State University Center for Meteorite Studies that were found in or near Sinagua dwellings. There is also a Paul Dyck Art Retrospective exhibit of this local artist who lived among the Plains Indians.
