Thunderbolt Middle School

Located in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Thunderbolt Middle School is operated by the Lake Havasu Unified School District. It offers academic classes to more than 1,000 students annually in grades six through eight. The school has various departments, such as math, science, social studies, English, language art, reading, special education, health and physical education. The school provides guidance and counseling services that assists students in anger management, grief and loss, personal reasons, stress and family problems. It provides a variety of athletic activities that includes cross country, volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, baseball, and track and field. The school has a library and media center that offers a collection of books and encyclopedias, as well as computers with Internet access.
