After a rocky start with venue and date changes, I was able to attend a concert. Live symphony is a treat for the senses. These performers are all volunteers. I commend them for their commitment.

The Scottsdale Philharmonic, founded in 2012, is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enriching the cultural landscape of the valley by providing a professionally trained symphony orchestra that performs a diverse repertoire of classical music accessible to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

The orchestra now has a permanent venue and conductor. The orchestra plays the classics and frequently has vocal and instrumental soloists. Veteran's and students get free admission. The...

My family arrived to check-in and enjoy the symphony this evening and the VIP reception that we and others received from one particular lady, who was supposed to be receiving us, was disgusting....

I took my grandson to a Sunday afternoon concert in May. He loved it! The volunteers who helped us find our seats were fantastic. We will be sure to go back in October.
