Susan enrolled in Allure Career College of Beauty before graduating from Shadow Mountain High School in 1987. After working at salons in Scottsdale, Tucson and the far West Valley she returned to Phoenix and started her own business renting a station in a large salon. She later crossed paths with a fellow stylist and salon owner where she established Susan Paul Hair inside Split Ends Salon llc.
