Phoenix Brick Yard manufactures various textures and colors of clay bricks and is the only active brick yard in the state of Arizona. It also produces refactory bricks that are used to build kilns for high temperature use and carries a full line of masonry tools, as well as fireplace and barbeque equipment. Its brick textures include velour, scratched, rock and bark and its colors include red, brown, pink, and gray brown. The company s customers include masonry stores, homeowners, governments, the University of Arizona and Tucson Unified School District. Phoenix Brick Yard was founded in 1917. Besides its facility in Phoenix, it operates a yard in Tucson that was opened in 1975.
