Prior to that, I played college basketball at Long Beach City College for coach Lute Olson, then on to Northern Arizona University where I was an All-American and drafted professionally by the Phoenix Suns. Later, I was honored to be inducted into both the Long Beach Athletic Hall of Fame and the Northern Arizona University Athletic Hall Fame. My wife and I now have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
