Elaine has worked in many areas of acute-care nursing including general medical and surgical, respiratory, oncology and renal, along with a number of years in critical care nursing including ICU, CCU, post-open heart, acute renal and renal transplant, and emergency medicine. Elaine worked as a nurse educator for 12 years doing general training/development, specialty care training, and instructed in acute response programs including Advanced Trauma Life Support for physicians and nurses, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and multiple paramedic training programs.
