Spaces of Opportunity is a community-driven initiative in Phoenix, AZ, dedicated to providing affordable access to healthy food, active living, and cultural roots for South Phoenix families. Through their 10-acre incubator farm, family gardens, and on-site farmers market, Spaces is transforming a food desert into a thriving food oasis, celebrating the artistry of gardeners, farmers, and farm workers.

With a focus on supporting farmers with limited resources from the local community, Spaces offers quarter-acre to one-acre plots of land for cultivation. They also host a cooperative farmers market, Our Harvest Nuestra Cosecha, where farmers who grow without chemicals primarily market their produce in South Phoenix. Additionally, community members can rent plots at the community garden for a nominal fee, fostering a sense of community and promoting the joy of growing and sharing food.
