The Search and Rescue Council Inc. (SARCI) is a non-profit organization that unites five all-volunteer search and rescue groups serving Tucson, Pima County, and Southern Arizona. Since 1958, its dedicated members have provided essential services, including wilderness and technical rescues, water rescues, and recovery operations, at no charge to the community.
SARCI combines the expertise of its members—who undergo rigorous training for various search and rescue missions—into a cohesive professional resource for local law enforcement and emergency services. Additionally, SARCI offers educational programs such as Hug-A-Tree and Lost But Found Safe and Sound to promote safety awareness in the community.
