Southern Arizona Aids Foundation

SAAF, also known as Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation, is a community-based organization that has been operational for more than 10 years. It provides case management and ancillary support services for people living with HIV and AIDS and their families. The organization offers several prevention and education programs to reduce the rate of infection. Its services include peer and mental health counseling, prevention education, complementary therapies, emergency rent and utility assistance, referrals, transportation, and housing and medication assistance. The organization s medication assistance program assists its clients in need of HIV- and AIDS-related medications. Its complementary therapies program provides access to a naturopathic physician and several therapies, including acupuncture, massage therapies, chiropractic care, personal training, sweat lodge and nutritional supplements for clients with limited income. SAAF is located in Tucson, Ariz.
