Samedyar Durrani, MD

Samedyar “Sam” Durrani, MD, was born and raised in the Midwest. He moved to the Valley in 2010 and established his thriving general surgery practice, Desert Surgical Specialists, which is in collaboration with HonorHealth. He is the vice chief of staff at HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center and currently serves as chief of the COVID-19 Task Force for the HonorHealth network. Outside of medicine, Dr. Durrani enjoys flying drones and spending time with his family, including his wife Angela and three children Samson, Samar and Shaan. He is also passionate about being a social advocate for those who are less fortunate.
