Rio Verde Country Club is nestled in the lower Verde River Valley of Arizona, on the fringes of the Tonto National Forest and McDowell Mountain Park. The private golf club lies within the Phoenix metropolitan area and are less than a half hour from Scottsdale, Ariz. Rio Verde s private club sits on a 1,000-acre setting in the heart of the Sonoran Desert and offers two 18-hole golf courses Quail Run and White Wing to its members. The golf courses were designed by Arizona architects Jeff Hardin and Greg Nash. Rio Verde s golf courses feature rolling fairways and maintained greens, as well as a variety of bunkers and lagoons that come in to play on several holes. Quail Run is a par-72 course that plays 6,524 yards, and White Wing is a par-71 course that plays 6,464 yards. Additional facilities at Rio Verde Country Club include the club house and dining area, driving range and practice greens.

My friend rented clubs and they forgot to put in a putter. Our golf cart had a max speed of about 3 mph. No drink cart or halfway stop on white wing. Some old hag thought we were playing too...

Played the golf course which is in very poor condition. Greens very bumpy, slow, and had numerous repairs and bald spots. Fairways were overwatered, muddy, and many under repair areas. Golf carts...

We had our daughters wedding reception at the Restraunt . The views are amazing.... the service was horrible,1 wait staff for 25 people. The bride and groom were the last to be waited on.......
