Founded in 1970, The Haven is a nonprofit, treatment center that helps women in recovering from substance use disorders. The organization offers group and individual therapy sessions, as well as psychoeducational classes. It provides, The Mother/Child Program for mothers who have been reunited and are in the process of being reunited with their children. The Haven also provides after-care programs. The organization operates residential facilities for single working graduates. It offers family education, anger management, stress reduction, and parenting skills and assertiveness training. In addition, the organization provides 24-hour safe residential treatment programs for adult substance dependent women. The Haven is located in Tucson, Ariz.
