Established in 1979, Reevis Mountain School is a nonprofit educational institute that provides programs in spiritual pursuits, self-sufficiency, organic gardening and natural healing, as well as the teaching of survival skills. The school s farm features an orchard of more than 70 fruit and nut trees, as well as a greenhouse, a community house and a stone masonry. It has cabins, teepees and yurpies for lodging. Reevis Mountain School also conducts plant study seminars and workshops. The school utilizes homegrown organic food ingredients to prepare meals.
