Dr. Grinnan specializes in urologic conditions including overactive bladder, enlarged prostate/BPH, vasectomy, erectile dysfunction, as well as bladder cancer. His clinical interests also include a variety of urologic surgical techniques and procedures such as endoscopic and percutaneous kidney stone surgery, robotic nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy, and robotic and laparoscopic kidney surgery. Dr. Safiullah earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from North Park University in Chicago before graduating from The Chicago Medical School. But it was not until he started a research fellowship at the University of California-Irvine (UC Irvine) that his interests in endourology and laparoscopy began to flourish. "I worked as a fellow of the prestigious Leadership and Innovation Fellowship Training (LIFT) at UC Irvine under the tutelage of Dr. Ralph Clayman and Dr. Jaime Landman," said Dr. Safiullah. "I was able to develop a virtual reality research program for preoperative planning in treating urologic disorders including kidney stones, tumors, etc.
