Property Management Bureau

The Phoenix Police Department-Property Management Bureau provides a variety of services for residents. Located in Phoenix, the bureau is owned and operated by the Phoenix Police Department, which is a full-service law enforcement agency that is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). The department it supports Gang Resistance Education And Training (G.R.E.A.T), which provides a school-based, officer-instructed program that includes classroom instruction and various learning activities. In addition, it administers Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (C.P.T.E.D), which is an urban planning tool that emphasizes the use of physical design features and land use characteristics to reduce opportunities for criminal activities. The Phoenix Police Department undertakes cases related to domestic violence, sexual assault, auto theft, burglary and substance abuse. It conducts a neighborhood watch program that encourages citizens to help in law enforcement by reporting suspicious criminal activities.
