Phoenix Country Day School

Located in Paradise Valley, Ariz., Phoenix Country Day School is a nonsectarian, college preparatory school. It enrolls more than 700 students in prekindergarten through grades 12 and offers a liberal arts curriculum. Founded in 1960, Phoenix Country Day School is organized into lower, middle and upper school divisions. The school is located on a 40-acre campus and provides a wide variety of facilities, such as a fully integrated computer infrastructure, science laboratories, art studios, music building, gymnasium, swimming pools, tennis courts, athletic fields and outdoor play areas. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, computers, world cultures, Spanish, visual arts, French and physical education. The school provides various athletic activities, such as volleyball, football, soccer, baseball, basketball, softball and lacrosse. Phoenix Country Day School is approved by the National Association of Independent Schools, the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest and National Association for the Education of Young Children.
