Park of the Canals is a historically significant site in Mesa, Arizona, dedicated to preserving the ancient Indian and early Mormon canals. In 1971, the George Bond family sold 20 acres of land to the Brinton family, who had a vision for the park's future, marking a pivotal moment in its development.

Located in a landscape rich with history, this park serves as a testament to the area's cultural heritage and the importance of water management in the region. It stands as a reminder of the efforts made by early settlers to sustain life through innovative irrigation practices.

Very pleasant. Got tamales to go from old El Paso tamales and went to the park and had a very relaxing picnic and then toured the botanic garden.
