The Old Pueblo Lightning Women's Rugby team is a competitive Division II club team based in Tucson, Arizona. As a proud member of the OPRFC family, they welcome players of all experience levels and offer a great workout and sports adventure. With an impressive track record, including an undefeated regular season in 2016 and a top-four finish in the USA Rugby Club National Championship Series in 2017, the team competes in the Southern California Rugby Football Union and participates in tournaments and friendlies across Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and California.
The Old Pueblo Lightning Women's Rugby team is known for their dedication and success in the sport, consistently proving themselves as a formidable force in their division. With a competitive league season in the spring and a range of exciting matches throughout the year, they provide an opportunity for women in Tucson to engage in the thrilling world of rugby and be part of a supportive and passionate community.
