History

I started flying gliders in 1977 in a club in Portland Oregon. In 2000 I bought my own equipment and started my own ride business in Hood River, Oregon. In 2013 I got out of the rain and moved to the sun of this great state of Arizona to take advantage of some of the best soaring conditions on planet earth!

Specialties

We provide the best glider flights in town. Fantastic views of The Harquahala Mountains, Harcavar Mountaion, and the Sonoran Desert. We have gliders that can take one or two passengers at a time. Another power plane tows us up to 5200 feet ASL where we let go of the tow line and fly free like a bird. We are able to climb in the rising air currents coming off of the Sonoran Desert to tens of thousands of feet! We can make the flight very exhilarating, or, if you want a smooth peaceful flight, we can do that too. This experience is fun for kids as young as about 4 or as old as 100+ What ever else you do here in The Valley of the Sun, this is the thing you will talk about the MOST!
