Northern Arizona Food Bank

Established in 1986, to provide supplemental nutrition and hunger relief to impoverished individuals and families in Northern Arizona, Northern Arizona Food Bank is based in Flagstaff, Ariz. It also transports and distributes food for other Arizona food banks, soup kitchens, pantries, chapter houses, senior centers, schools, churches, outreach projects and women's shelters. Northern Arizona Food Bank assists community recreational and cultural activities, such as the Flagstaff special Olympics and national youth sports program. It organizes food drives, emergency food boxes, sponsors fleet of trucks for food transportation and provides firewood for heating and cooking needs.
