Chef Gian Franco Brugaletta experienced the glamour of Monaco recently, as the head of the Buddha Bar Monte Carlo, where he delighted his patrons with fusion creations every day for the past six years. Ready for another challenge, he decides to move to Scottsdale, Arizona, to open nonna urban eatery in Old Town Scottsdale. Nonna's mission is to bring back simple, nutritious food, though traditional and creative flavors. Chef Brugaletta loves to cook. He loves to nourish the soul and the body, he loves a nice motorcycle (preferable vintage), Pink Floyd and the sound of a classic guitar. Born to a family of European immigrants in South America, Chef Brugaletta developed a taste for home made food at an early age, thanks to his amazing grandmother. His Nonna Salvatrice, taught him proper food takes time, dedication and overall a good simple ingredient.
Come enjoy amazing food, a chill vibe and great drinks! Nonna Urban Eatery in Old Town Scottsdale.
