Namisa

NAMISA, also known as National Alliance on Mental Illness of Southern Arizona, is a nonprofit organization that provides educational and health care services to people with mental illness. It offers information on schizophrenia and bipolar, panic and obsessive disorders. The organization also provides outreach programs on mental illnesses for consumers, families, mental health service providers, educators, students, law enforcement personnel, professionals and faith communities. NAMISA helps mentally disabled people with financial assistance through certified lending institutions. It has a staff of licensed family and bilingual advocates, nurses, administrators and social workers. The organization is affiliated with National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and NAMI Arizona. NAMISA is located in Tucson, Ariz.
