Founded more than 30 years ago, COPE Behavioral Services is a nonprofit behavioral health organization that provides innovative solutions to community problems. The organization offers treatment and rehabilitation services that address the problems of physical and chemical abuse, general mental health and serious mental illness. COPE works collaboratively to enact sustainable solutions to personal and family problems, as well as broader community issues. In-Balance Transitional Living is a highly regarded young adult aftercare community located in Tucson, AZ, offering support and guidance to young men aged 17.5 to 28 who have completed primary treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. With a focus on the 12-step program, clinical sophistication, and life skills development, In-Balance Transitional Living aims to help these individuals maintain sobriety while transitioning into independent adulthood. With two campuses, In-Balance Transitional Living provides a unique and supportive environment for young men to thrive. The young adult program, situated in a residential neighborhood near the University of Arizona, offers a simulated independent living experience, while the collegiate recovery campus, located near the university and Pima Community College, provides a fraternity-like atmosphere.
